A LOT has burst onto the WA racing scene with a wave of winners from limited numbers in his first two books.

His winners include Group and Stakes placegetters Costume Party (G3 Gimcrack Stakes) and Alotofbanter (LR Perth Stakes).

A LOT is set to claim the WA second-season sires’ premiership in 2022-23 and is Top 20 in Australia.  His yearlings averaged $68,200 at the 2023 Perth Magic Millions and sold to a top of $100,000.

A LOT is the perfect outcross for WA’s dominant Danehill and Northern Dancer broodmare base and his progeny will improve with age.

A LOT won a 2yo nursery at Belmont Park in New York and returned as a 3yo to claim his first black-type victory in the LR Paradise Creek Stakes back at Belmont Park.

A LOT trained on as a 4yo with a sizzling North American record for 1400m on turf (1:19:23s) in the LR Elusive Quality Stakes.

A LOT is by three-time American Champion Sire TAPIT, the leading active American sire by Group 1 winners (29) and all-time leading sire by lifetime progeny earnings.

TAPIT has emerged as one of the most influential and breed-shaping stallions of the past half-century in North America from his base at Gainesway Farm in Kentucky.  His Champion Group 1 galloper FLIGHTLINE was named World Horse of the Year in 2022 with a staggering TIMEFORM rating of 140.  That equalled the rating of the immortal FRANKEL in 2012.

As a sire-of-sires, TAPIT’S top sons at stud include FROSTED (USA), who is the only other TAPIT sire to stand in Australia for a fee of $38,500 at Darley.

A LOT’S dam Overly Tempting was a multiple stakes placegetter and Group 1 placed.
